His experiments with truth

My Insight on Gandhi…

It was a very difficult task to judge and describe the character of Mahatama Gandhi in mere a few words, and the task become all the more difficult as I had to describe him reading the first section. As the first section only talks about his personal life and doesn’t give much on managerial learning

To be very frank I don’t believe in Gandhi ji a lot. I am not a follower of his ideas as I truly believe his ideas of non violence are not applicable in today’s environment.

But it is imporatant on our part to let the process of learning go and never end. We should be smart enough to learn and grasp from things which we don’t believe and follow too. MY EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH.. the book written by Mahatama Gandhi talks about his various phases of life and the challenges that Gandhiji took up in his life fighting against unjust.

The important overall learnings from the first section which I found out was… Always believe in yourself and follow your heart. Gandhiji later became an icon and the Father of the nation but during his childhood he had also done things which he was not so proud of. A few being eating meat and smoking and also stealing, the other important lesson to be learnt is, If you have done some bad deed, be prepared for the consicequences, be brave enough to accept your mistake. Telling the truth is also equally important. As it is very commonly said you don’t have to remember what you said if you are telling the truth.

So to summarize I can say the most important things that I learnt from the first section of Gandhiji’s autobiography was to believe in yourself, have faith and never to lie. If we follow these simple principles we surely will attain success in life
